Thank you for your interest in supporting
Citizens Advice Havering.

Aside from donation (always gratefully received) there are many other ways you can support us.

Everyday, the Nationwide Citizens Advice organization has the privilege of assisting millions of people across England and Wales, and it’s all thanks to the collective efforts of individuals like you.

We serve as the local arm of Citizens Advice in Havering

As a local charity, we rely on the help of volunteers, employees, sponsors and donors, community leaders, cheerleaders, partners and advocates to make an impact especially in these challenging times. Together we can all play our part in creating a society where people encounter fewer challenges.

Join us as we work together to shape a more supportive and problem-free society.

I’d like to personally invite you to become a Friend of CAH and be a part of our story and support network.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

Without our Volunteers, we would not be able to do what we do. That is why our volunteers are so well trained and supported. Consider offering us a few hours of your time each week.

Mike Beauchamp

I became a volunteer as ‘something to do’ after retirement. I soon found out that there was something potentially very rewarding about it. Being part of a very supportive and caring CAH team has enabled me to work not only much closer to those whose needs were particularly important but also to give me the tools to help make a tangible difference in their lives. Like many other people the experience of other people’s real problems was very much academic before I joined CAH. Being part of the CAH team soon put that right!. I would encourage anyone thinking of giving some of their time to volunteering to look closely at CAH.

I am now retired and had skills which I obtained in my previous job. I wanted to give back to society and felt using my skills to help people was an easy way to give back. Volunteering has given me benefits other than financial which one gets from working. The thing I most enjoy is working with other people and helping people. I would say to anyone thinking of becoming a volunteer is to try it.

After retirement, once I had caught up on all the jobs and the decorating, I neede a purpose. I was getting bored. Now I do have a purpose and feel good about helping people. People going away with an answer on how to solve their problem is very rewarding and you feel you have achieved something when you are able to help.
